Customer Liaison Committee

Do you want to make a difference in how Harrogate Housing Association manages your home and the area you live in? Do you get frustrated with the things that go on in the area you live in and want it to be a better place to live ? If you do then you can have a real opportunity to work with staff to help us achieve this. We want you to have your voice heard and work with the team to make positive outcomes that really benefit our customers and our neighbourhoods. You have a view and we want to hear it, we would really value your opinion on the things that matter to you and the Customer Liaison Committee was created so that we can advise you what we are doing and you, as a customer, can advise us what you would like us to focus on.

All you need to do is come along to a really informal meeting with other customer and discuss the matters that are important to you. Currently the Committee has a real focus on Anti-Social Behaviour and improving the area in which they live through a variety of different incentives .The Committee were involved in developing the new and updated policy on Anti- Social Behaviour and Neighbour Nuisance which was launched in August 2020. The members wanted us to reflect the need for us all to be more neighbourly. This was included in the policy and approved by the Committee. This shows the positive impact the Committee has in the Association and we want your views too !

It is really easy to get involved just contact Angela on 01423 884018 for an informal chat or alternatively we can put you in touch with our Chair and customer Carmen to have an informal chat. The commitment to the panel is to read the information provided, attend the meeting and provide us with your views and that’s it. I know people are busy and don’t always have time to commit to a meeting so the Association can provide other opportunities for you to have your say – just contact us 01423 884018 and speak to Angela or any of the Neighbourhood Officers.

The Customer Liaison Committee currently meet every 6 weeks.

The Committee consists of :-
Chair : Carmen McCormack

We look forward to hearing from you!!!
